Outfit 3:

In total we used 3 different outfits for the main artist in our music video. This was essential in order to ensure we kept audience attention and guaranteed our main star was not boring to watch on screen. The inspiration for each outfit came from a total of three different artists. Outfit 1, which was utilised for warehouse scenes was inspired by Kanye West's outfit in the "Four Five Seconds' music video. We feel this outfit was effective as the colours clearly differentiated it from the other outfits used throughout the video. Outfit 2, which was utilised for all outdoors scenes including the car scenes and also the parking lot scenes was inspired by Travis Scott's outfit in the "Don't Play" music video. We feel this outfit worked well as it complied well with the connotations of a real rap music video. The final and most minimal outfit, outfit 3, was inspired by Madeintokyo's outfit in the 'Uber Everywhere' music video. This outfit was used in the bedroom scenes only and was effective due to it's simplicity and relateability as it is likely clothing our target audience would wear or own. We feel it was necessary to include these outfit changes as our video is longer than a typical music video and different outfits would better the viewer experience.
